A versatile soloist, he is especially interested in Renaissance and Baroque performance practice, as well as contemporary art song and folk music.

Elliot currently regularly performs as an ensemble singer and soloist with Peabody Vocal Ensembles, and sings with the choir of Old St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. He previously sang in the Vassar College choirs, including the vocal chamber ensemble he founded, Vassar First Inversion. In 2023 he attended the Seraphic Fire Professional Choral Institute, building professional ensemble skills under the direction of Patrick Quigley and James K. Bass. the University of Michigan Choral Conducting Symposium in 2025.

As a transgender singer, Elliot carries a unique perspective on the voice that informs his technique and pedagogy. He is deeply passionate about the inclusion of the queer community in the arts, and believes music can be a vessel to tell unheard stories.

Elliot is currently pursuing his M.M. in Choral Conducting with Dr. Beth Willer, at the Peabody Institute. He previously earned his B.A. in Music at Vassar College, and was a recipient of the Karolyn Kirksey Holler ‘54 Award for Graduate Study in Music.
